About Michael
I’m a nineteen-year litigation attorney with a focus on labor and employment law. The majority of my career was spent working in large to mid-size Florida law firms. As the world and technology rapidly advance, entire industries are being disrupted and changing how they do business. Not so for the business of law, which is broken.
I formed MLE Law to address and change the broken legal business model. Billable hours, old-school brick and mortar office space, over-staffing and exorbitant hourly rates all are part of a broken system that is outdated and inefficient.
MLE Law provides alternative fee structures which include not charging to talk, email or text with clients. MLE Law does not have traditional brick and mortar office space or unnecessary staff. MLE Law’s use of shared co-work space and technology allows for modern, efficient and global representation while only charging clients for actual legal work produced.
With the ease of modern communication, it’s absurd that traditional law firms are still charging clients for every phone call, email and text. Technology has advanced mankind’s ability to communicate and the legal industry has remained stagnant, operating and charging the same way it has since the early 1900’s. MLE Law was founded because there is a better, more modern, more efficient and more client-friendly way. This is not your father’s law firm.
